ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION VIDEO CAMPAIGN
Client: Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, the Government of the HKSAR

About The Client:

Economic Development Commission ( EDC) is a commission under Commerce and Economic Development Bureau. It aims to provide visionary direction and advice to the Government on the overall strategy and policy.

Challenge:

Branding for a conservative government is a difficult matter. This time, we need to demonstrate the serious government content with an unconventional and eccentric approach.

What We Have Done:

We presented 5 different disciplines in an energetic and vibrant tone and manner which gave a fresh look to the audience. Each working group has its own style and executions, however, the vibe of the campaign is remained consistent.

Impact:

The success of the video series brought about debut view rates of over 10k for each episode within days upon launch.

Our client also realised the potential of adapting the visual asset from the videos. They revamped the website with the visuals for a consistent brand identity which was a breakthrough to the governmental organizations. (http://www.cedb.gov.hk/citb/edc/tc/home/index.html)
