What challenges were you trying to get EmotionLAB to solve?

We needed a video for applying award about how the visitors make use of the mobile apps in exhibitions visiting. We needed emotion graphic in the video so we chose eMotionLAB.

Solution

Please describe the solution that EmotionLAB provides in detail?

eMotionLAB came to our office to have a first presentation about the concept. Then we think their concept or idea is matching to us. Therefore, we hired eMotionLAB to product the video for us. Based on our requirements, they came up with a flow and send us a storybook with a script in it. They had fine tune the script again before taking the video. Then, they helped us to sort the actress and do casting for us. After casting, eMotionLAB went to the venue and communicate with the accounted person of the venue about sparing a place for them to take the video. After taking the video, they sent us back the whole video. We were ok with it. Then, eMotionLAB started to work on the first rough cut take and send it to us, asking for our feedbacks. We made few suggestions and after few times revised, the video completed. Then we got approval from different parties in our organization. Finally, eMotionLAB helped us to produce the final version and the project was completed.

We searched different professionals through Internet. We came across with eMotionLAB through friend recommendation. We had a meeting first and listen to their presentation. What they present is matching to our idea. Therefore, we hire eMotionLAB immediately.


What is the status of this engagement now? For how long?

Started from late March, early April and completed within one month.

Could you share the results from this service?

It is not a public video. The purpose of producing this video is to introduce the apps using to help visitor to know more about the exhibits displayed in the art exhibitions. As we would like to apply an award and we need a video for the presentation. I think this video is effective and helpful as we are now at the final stage of applying the award.


What distinguishes EmotionLAB from other providers?

I think the major advantages of eMotionLAB is that they can do emotion graphic. They can handle the whole project on their own. Providing well consultancy service, detail-oriented and with sufficient guidance like asking us is there anything else needed to be fine tune? Through out the process, their follow up actions are sufficient and providing comprehensive range of services.

No. If we have any new project, we will look for eMotionLAB again definitely.

After we told our requirements about the video to eMotionLAB. They met the client and send them the quotation. The client was happy with their quote and hired eMotionLAB to work on the video. Then eMotionLAB sent us the storybook. The client was satisfied with it and passed the idea/ concept. Actually our apps were helping the visitors to know more about the exhibits while visiting an art exhibition. Then we went to the exhibitions with eMotionLAB. eMotionLAB was really professional and communicated with the accounted person of the exhibitions about they are going to take a video here. So on, they settled everything in a proper and professional way like casting and ask the accounted person of the exhibitions to spare a place for them to take the video about how the visitors use our apps. After 3 to 4 times revised, the work completed.

As the video completed after the exhibition and the purpose of the video is not for increasing sales or traffic, there is no significant statistics can be provided. However, the main purpose of this video is to introduce a new way of visiting an exhibition which is using apps and to apply award with this video, to bring a new interesting way to visit an exhibition.

We had to provide a report to the client in PowerPoint format usually. This time, we would do some customizations for the clients, so that he could show to the end-user with some pragmatic, deliverable information. For instance, we needed to do an infographic. Therefore, we need a professional to work on this for us.

We had a meeting first, talking about our expectation and brainstorming. Since at that moment, we still not decided the output of the infographic like bookmarks or anything else? We told them what data would we like to put in the infographic. Also, the data was still not completed yet at that moment. However, eMotionLAB was really initiative. They kept following with us about the data, asking us whether we need help? Also, they asked us to provide some data to them first so that they can make a mockup model to let us have look first. We can say eMotionLAB is a dedicated professional service provider. Finally, after we collect all the data, eMotionLAB made the final version of the infographic.

Our office is in the same building. There are some activities or seminar within our building. We met eMotionLAB there. When we needed someone to work on the infographic for us, we contacted eMotionLAB.

For the project, it was about 2 weeks. If started from the first meeting, it was about one and a half month. From May 2016 to June 2016.
